We stand in solidarity with the nurses of Ukraine

Nurses in Ukraine were already working under very difficult conditions with very low salaries, high patient: nurse ratios, minimal support staff, and little respect from employers. In 2015, changes in the healthcare system ultimately resulted in a loss of huge numbers of nurses.

The situation is so much worse after Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022.
